I tore down my old 10x10 shed. Last summer. It was attached to the house and i was replacing all my siding, so it had to go.

I want to build a 10x10 or 10x12 shed. Nothing special. Just a window and large door to get the tractor in an out. I have a line on old garage doors from a guy that does door installs so may cut down a wood door to fit.

Looking for a guide that i can customize to my needs. It will be vinyl sided to match my house since i bought extra when i did the house just for this project.

theres a bunch to choose from including lean-to's.

not complete plans, but there's a materials list and drawings.  If you cant figure it out from there, you shouldn't be doing this project anyway.

I don't have plans, I'm a carpenter by trade. I put in a 11x12 a few years back and ordered a roll up door for it. The door is pretty badass and saves overhead space due to not having a track.

I came to post the same question. I am looking to build a 12x16 shed for storage and a mini workshop.

Has anyone used HowToBuildaShed.org?

Which company did you buy from?

http://www.cheapsheds.com/

Tons of info here.  Read Step 5 and Step 7 on the right side of the page for an ingenious method of getting a perfect door.

The plans are cheap, and use sizes designed to keep waste to a minimum.

Even if you don't buy from that site the information is worth the read.

I'm dying to build a sauna.  I might use this to start off with.  I don't think it would be difficult in designing your own shed on Sketchup, though.  So long as you get the sizes of the lumber correctly.

I can design no problem, I need to learn how to properly frame, though.  Never done that befoe.

I just did this one: http://myoutdoorplans.com/shed/utility-shed-plans/

It is an 8 x 10 but could easily be scaled.

I also added double hanging doors 60" wide on one side so I could drive my lawn mower up into it.

I beefed up the floor joists on the entrance side, but it probably didn't need it.

Make it 12x12 or 12x16.

Easier to build. Less waste.
