Looking to turn the patio area below my deck into an "entertainment area" plus move my BGE down there to keep things dry. There's a number of products out there, Underdeck being the most popular (albeit unattractive.) Seems a number of companies resale flat aluminum panels that are installed in channels along the joists, this gives water a way to flow away from your house into a gutter and downspouts; electrical boxes and the like can be added for fans/lights/etc.

I'm talking to a couple of local contractors that offer the generic aluminum installation but it doesn't look that hard to put up yourself. So far I'm digging the look and features to Magnolia's system, doesn't hurt they're local.

Thoughts?
