Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - GE profile fridge not working

my GE  2007 profile fridge went dead this week. I change the mother board and it came on and then it stopped after about 12 hours and stopped working.  now the compressor will not kick on.  i did the test and i think its the invertor board.  is it pretty common for then to go bad?  Do the symptoms sound right for a bad board?

Bought a new invertor box and it fixed the issue. Compressor started right up
