Hello all, since this is built into the house and I did it myself,
I figured it was ok to post this here. Anyway , I built this about eleven years ago when I built my house, I've since abondoned it for a steel safe so it's ok to show it off and maybe it Would Help give you ideas for your own projects. Basically it's a working hall linnen closet , that opens up. A small piece on the left of the cabinet , held on by rare earth magnets, pops off to reveal the hinge. Inside it holds 26 rifles, dozen or so pistols , Plenty of drawer space and half a dozen rubber maids Overhead for builds. Enjoy.

I have something similar, but I'm not happy with the hinges. Can you show some details of how that works?

Here are some close ups of the hinge. I don't remember
Where I ordered it, but I think it was around 125$ and capable Of supporting way more weight than it holds With cover piece on 
With it off, you can see the rare earth magnets.

I can't fit a safe in there now, At least not without doing a lot of remodeling. Besides, this is going to be bulk Christmas storage now. |

Awesome!
There are some fairly large damaged areas where the trim has crushed the wall board. That telegraphs the hidden door and compromises security. |
