What kind of crowd are you talking?
If they are the type - Monty Python's Holy Grail movie is always good. If they are the type that would be afraid such was too "nerdy" - there are always classics like Caddyshack or Ghostbusters. Alternatively, an old action movie everyone has seen - like Aliens - might work. |

I would agree that a movie may be a "distraction" in a social situation .... unless there are kids around that you would like to "contain" and "entertain".
Maybe a DVD concert may be an option ... I personally like DIDO ... but you and your friends may prefer a more lively band or group. IMO |
