This is either a great "B" movie or a bad "A" movie.
I like to think of it as a great "B" movie.

Bluray of:

1984 - excellent transfer and the Eurythmics score is best. (both symphonic and Eurythmics score are available)

Mysterious Island - a old time favorite.

Disney's Treasure Island - another excellent transfer.

Watched both of these this weekend with my son.

Sigourney has some delicious tatas in this one.

Both my son and I enjoyed these flicks.

went to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens . . . again
this time in 2D on a regular screen (as opposed to the first time - on IMAX, in 3D)

I liked it just as much as the first time.

Ex Machina on Netflix.

Intellectual and somewhat suspenseful despite being a bit slow on occasion.  Overall good movie though.

Generation Kill on Amazon.

I dig it.  After being disappointed in The Pacific, a good pick me up.

I just saw the uncut version of the Exorcist for the first time. . . Might not be able to sleep now

I have to say that it was one of the most complex and horrifyingly interesting films I have ever watched.

Bridge of Spies

not exactly a spy thriller, it's more of a behind the scenes of what happens during the negotiations to get 'spies' back.

takes place in the late 50s - early 60s, during the height of the Cold War,  when the Berlin Wall went up.

very good movie,
but you can't go wrong when the movie is directed by Spielberg and stars Tom Hanks
