She's not as fancy as some of the other bikes here but I'm glad to be back on 2 wheels come next season.  2001 GSF600S Bandit.  The plastics need work and the chain needs cleaning/oil/adjustment but it looks to be mechanically sound.  Just paid 1250 for it with 20k miles on it.  Not a glamour shot, but tomorrow is a high of 12 degrees and windy... I think it might sit for a while.

Nice!

My cousin in SD has/had one - I know he was trying to sell it a while back.  You didn't buy it from a young kid in the Britton area, did you?

re-packed the can and she sounds much better.  the D&D was obnoxiously loud.  Turns out the packing was in rough shape, on top of it being a loud pipe in the first place.

Sweet, that should be a comfortable ride. Is that a fuel cell mounted on the pillion? Its huge. You can probably cross a couple states at a time between gas stops with that setup. My girl needs gas about every 125 miles, but honestly thats about when I need a stretch too

I love this, but I am not very positive exactly where Yamaha goes. FZ6R, FZ7, FZ8 (ceased), FZ9, and also FZ1 (which i've). My partner and i keep questioning what type is following around the chopping obstruct.

I've had mine for 5 months now, I don't have any problems with the mirrors.  In fact, I'm told they are much better than most bikes (that require after market mirrors).  Enjoy, it's an awesome bike!

Havent gone through all 160 pages yet, but anyone else have an fzr? Here is my 96. She has over 54K miles on the clock too. She is my first bike, and now im looking for a supermoto/dualsport to venture upon.

Then there was that day before i moved, we took our sportbikes into the woods and found a river bed leading up to a cliff/waterfall. You can barely see me standing over on the edge of the cliff.

Thanks.  This is my 3rd FZ1 (.08, '12,  and this '13)

So far, this one just has the MIVV GP slip-on and Graves FE.  I have a set of AIS block-off plates that will go on it, but that will be the extent of performance mods for the foreseeable future.

My '08 had all the mods except for modified flies and a header.

My '12 had engine problems at 400 miles.  I traded it off on a Triumph Tiger 1050.

The red ones are faster

My '08. Has a full yosh exhaust, tinted screen, flush mounts and intergrated tail blinkers, fender elim., and I just finished putting on a set of ASV shorty levers and some Woodcraft sliders. Doing an Ivan's re flash and PC5 soon. Also have some Sargent saddles in the mail.

Here's a better shot of the levers. The gold adjusters match the forks perfectly, really sets it off. They work great too! You can just make out one of the sliders as well:

ETA: I really want some gold wheels like the 08 in your pics, they look great. Nice bikes.

Ive had it since may. So 8 months. Ive put nearly 3K miles on it. Previous owner did the other 51K ;-)  I love the way this frame handles itself, even if it is a bit of an overweight tubby.

Sweet bike!  I had Pazzo levers and Rizoma gold grips.  I loved how the '08's had the gold theme going...then they turned cheap in later years.  I think the gold would have gone awesome with the Cobalt Blue of my '13.  I'd love to have the money for gold forks & wheels on my bike

I'm also sad to see Watsen Designs stop making flushmount signals...they were the sexiest thing ever made for the FZ's

Yes ! everyone need to try supermoto ! It was a hooligan machine for sure .They embarrass alot of "fast" sport bikers all day .

This bike was the most fun to build ! Honda CB750 easyrider into cafe racer 5-6 yrs ago ! bought for $500 rode it home and got more thumbs up in a 1hr ride then I would get all year riding my ZX10R

After the build this is my father riding it around the neighborhood feeling like a kid again I swear this bike started more conversations then any bike I have owned . sold it for $3500 miss it every day

The 630 is a bit high-geared for the real technical offroad stuff, especially with street tires, it can lead to some interesting situations...
Dystanzias would help a bit, but they're a little heavy.
Michelin Pilot Power 3's are my favorite on this bike.

Also, from last year...
Big wet rock and you can tell who hasn't ridden much dirt

I've ridden SXV's, and if it weren't for the intense maintenance I would own one.
I've looked hard at a Dorso before too

Yes, they are not like Japanese bikes when it comes to wrenching on them.  It's not that they require constant maintenance.  It's just that you have to remove 5 other things before you get to what you need to work on.  Aprilia owners consider this "character" and it's the price you pay for owning an exotic bike.

Other than that, she's a great ride!

Dystanzias would help a bit, but they're a little heavy.
Michelin Pilot Power 3's are my favorite on this bike.

Also, from last year...
Big wet rock and you can tell who hasn't ridden much dirt

One last wash.

Taken to my shop to wait for the new owner to pick it up.

Hopefully it will arrive safely and the new owner (fellow arfcommer) will love it tenderly and maybe post pics.
