I have tickets bought for both the big track and the flat track races at Daytona next month.
Should be entertaining. |

I was just looking at Hayden's new colors a little while ago on the new Honda, and I'm just as psyched for WSBK to kick off as I am for MotoGP.

Growing up Colin Edwards was our neighbor.. Probably the most down to earth person I've ever met, especially considering his success in racing. Loves guns too. He has a legit 50 Cal we used to shoot out on his property. Watched him race at Laguna and Indi a few times

BSB is really entertaining, but tougher to follow in the states. My heart lies with Irish Roadracing most of all. |

Bein Sports channel carries WSBK as well as MotoGP. Can't see spending my money to support terrorists. BeIn sports = Al Jazeera Media Network 70 euros for a video pass. I've bought the Motogp video pass before and it's more racing than you can actually watch, they show everything. Every practice, all the qualifying, all the races. Evrything: WSBK video pass |

MotoGP can only dream about the same intensity in racing. WSBK race two another photo finish, tons of lead swaps, six guys fighting for the podium.
Great stuff. |

Can someone explain to me the restart rules for WSS? Great race but they lost me when they restarted the race with the original grid positions.

Anyone going to COTA for MotoGP this year?
This will be my fourth time, was much easier when we lived in DFW. |

The 4th place racers of race 1 started on the pole on Race 2 No, I'm asking about after the red flag. PJ had crashed, re-joined the race and was up to about 17th and on the restart he was on pole again. They went back to original grid positions and all the racing before the red flag was null. I've been trying to find what the rules are but the Google is failing me. Anyway, on PJ, it's nice to have another American to cheer for. I think he's just a little over amped right now, once he settles down he'll do fine. Now he's going to have actually race against people of comparable skills, not just run away like he did at MotoAmerica where he outclassed the field. I feel terrible about the state of racing in this country. MotoAmerica is trying hard but it just isn't there. What the hell happened? |

Agreed, and I refuse to watch any of the American race series after DMG totally ruined them. That and the economy only leaves WSBK and MotoGP IMO. View Quote DMG isn't running AMA anymore. While it isn't back to glory days, good people are running it now and it won't get better until people come back and watch it. The new GSXR is going to make for some interesting racing, come have a look.. |
