I need a new truck. I'm debating between a 2016 F150, 2017 F150 and a 2017 F250. Does anyone know when they will be at the dealers? Any idea if they will have good promotions on the 2016s?

17's are already at the dealershpips here.  Only been here for a couple weeks.   I would wait until the 18's come out.

Why?

only things I could think would be new tranny and reworked ecoboost (if so inclined) are coming out in the '17's. If you could wait they may get the bugs worked out.

Any thoughts about which you would buy?

I passed a 2017 Platinum dually the other day

Then I priced a similar truck on Ford's site for north of $80k...

Looks like the super duties are out but not the F150, no?

Any thoughts on why not buy a F250?

Only reason I see to buy the bigger one is need.

What are you going to be doing with this truck you need?

The new Super Duty is a lot of truck if you don't need it. 900 ft lbs of torque.

I had the pleasure of driving a 2017 Platinum crew cab with the 6.7L. It's a monster.

Maybe he wants the gasser?  Gas engines don't just stop at 1/2 tons...

I'd personally wait for the 2022 models.

The 2021 will be better than the 2020, and no one wants the 2019 since it didnt really improve much over the 2018, and the 2017 is a first year redesign.  So avoid it at all costs.

You may also want to take a look at the 2023, I am.  I actually have a deposit in on one.  Its supposed to be better and more expensive and have some new features.
