Went looking at ATVs, and boy, its been awhile since ive been in one. KTM has really stepped up their street bike game. Sat on their lil 390 street bike (not the duke). was pretty nice. dealer said it had slipper clutch and a bunch of other high tech features. lol. Seen a Yamaha R3 and the new CBRs..lol. Some nice looking stuff out there............

Guy at work just bought one....it's two weeks and 100mi old. It started overheating, and now is back at the dealer waiting on a water pump impeller. Quick scan of the forums seems it's not uncommon.

Not a knock against KTM, they make incredible bikes (I need a KTM motored Husky 501 in the WORST way!) but maybe the 390 needs to work out a few kinks first....

So what is the back story on this because that rim looks bent in one section as if it had an impact. I would have probably shit my pants regardless of how it happened.

You can even see the marks on the tire itself. Looks like a bad pothole.

I love KTMs. I had a 2008 SuperDuke that I put around 15k miles on without any issues, I sold it and bought the Duke last year.

Don't mind the chicken strips on the duke, they were brand new tires.

The 390 is made in India. Quality is the primary concern.......

I LOVE my 390.  I have 1,200 miles on mine as of today.  No issues at all.  FUN little bike!

I know the KTM's for dirt/off road get great review and go fast...Is 390 cc's enough to have fun on the road?
Looks like it would blow the pegs off my KLR650
