before I got into the leo job I spent a few years working in the automotive industry and loved it..did a bit of wholesale on the road stuff covering for the regular guy and really enjoyed it. we had a Snap On franchise owner here but he retired and they never replaced him.

Having bought from him and knowing a lot of his customers..I know near the end of his time as a dealer he had a rough go with hand tools due to many box stores offering a life time warranty on their tools.

I'm assuming because thee wasn't someone replacing him that Snap On doesn't think it is worth it or..the margins aren't there to make a go of it.



So..my question is..would it be worth looking into? I'm sneaking up on 20 years on the job and looking for a change.

I'm not even sure if Matco has any Canadian franchise owners..I've never seen a truck in my travels.

That is the same with any business..and something that is lacking these days. Not sure it is something I would do right now but it's been on my mind for a couple of years...worth checking into.
