Trying to decide which color Tacoma to get.
I really like the Pyrite Mica but no-go...wifes Rav4 has that color.

I like Silver Sky Metallic, my last Tacoma was silver streak...kind of safe...
The Blue Ribbon Metallic is kind of cool...any issues with a darker color that I should know about?
Appreciate thoughts, opinions, jokes about my mother...

The silver will be easier to maintain the paint looking nice.  Black or dark blue will show dirt and paint damage a lot more.

desert tan CARC.  The dirtier it gets, the cleaner it looks

I've come to the conclusion in my pickup buying life that color is completely irrelevant....provided its white.

White cares for esiest
Touches up esiest
Shows minor damage the least
And is coolest. (As in temp)
It's also the esiest to get color matched accessories for new and used

LOL, 4 vehicles in driveway and 3 are white.
Plus, my work truck. Also white.

I've had white vehicles, I've had black vehicles, and I've had silver vehicles.

Blacks gets too hot in the Texas sun and shows even the slightest damage.

White looks clean only when it's clean.  If it's been more than 5 minutes since you washed it, it looks dirty.

Silver hides small damage, doesn't get too hot, and doesn't show dirt.

Guess what color my Toyota is now.

I like the blue - I'm not a fan of silver.

My family had white vehicles for my entire life, and I was sick and tired of looking at them. I bought a black 2012 F-150, and boy, it sure is a lot of work to keep it looking decent. It has a few blemishes now that would be invisible if it were white.

My vote would be silver. That blue color won't be much better than black.

Silver would be my first choice.  White would be my second choice.

I was told that only metallic colors get a clear coat on Toyota trucks.
