just so happened to kill the alternator while changing the waterpump.
Only because you have to move it and the AC compressor to get to a hose. |

My wife later admitted she moved the alternator to help scrape off the old gasket while I was at work. She hit Positive terminal to ground, and sparked it.
May have toasted a winding, getting shorted like that. Well, she replaced the alternator yesterday, so hopefully all is good. |
