I am a Camaro guy myself but, congrats on the invite. I am appreciate hard work on any car I see. what kind of specs do you have on the motor, HP torque etc..... MY 1997 Camaro just died a few weeks ago so I got a commuter car in the mean time. Years down the road I'll have the money to put into it. I am going to pull the 350cid and drop in a 383 stroker, then do suspension upgrades and sub-frame connectors. It won't be nearly as fast as your car but, it will put a smile on my face when I hit WOT. View Quote I've spent the last 5 years building and tweaking this car to perfection. This new Accufab engine was built to handle 1500+ hp and it will turn 9500 rpm (and live). LS swap for your 97 Camaro. :-) |

Love the car. I actually think the all black on the rims. However you know what your doing. Keep us posted. Will help wherever we can. View Quote I decided today that I'm going black with the wheels, they will be Satin black to match the accents on the car and the rear bead lock rings will be Wrinkle black to match the covers on the engine and the innercooler piping. |

I'm glad you got your car fixed. View Quote Man I spent 3 years fighting issues with this car! It's finally what it should be! |

WOW!!!.....and I thought your rifles were nice. View Quote Drag racing was my first hobby, AR15's came second. :-) This was my old car. I built it from the ground up as well and raced it for about 9 years. I got rid of the old car and started this new car pretty much right away. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Qvd_AQRGVA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KA-DHn0uTPg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2OwNVtz3Ek http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mWpHZ_btXSs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQXKqOIprN8 |

The car was originally a Fl. federal police car and has the Chevy police package on it. I did some volunteer LE work for about 3 years until my back could not handle it anymore. I want to keep the engine the same for nostalgia purposes. Every time I drove it, it reminded me of my patrol days. It would not be the same with a LS power plant. As for your Mustang.....DAMN!!! that is some huge HP numbers you have there. Good luck at the show. |

White usually looks too "pedestrian" (coming from the guy that drives a huge-ass white truck ), but you have done a great job of striking a balance between clean and subtle, and pure evil

View Quote what he said :) View Quote So I can monitor things from the engine bay, no need to go inside the car to view the Racepak dash. Like when I adjust fuel pressure under the hood, I can just look up and view it. Can also view Voltage, Oil PSI, and Water Temp. Not a bad idea to have the data right there. I also filled that spot in the hood, one side was vented and the other was solid, rather than add a second vent to make it symmetrical I added some gauges. I also have a Voltage gauge in the truck mounted in front of the drivers side battery. |

It made 837 today, the new tranny put much more of a load on the motor and I ran myself out of fuel injector, they were maxed out with a 100% duty cycle. Still not bad for an Auto car. http://youtu.be/2qQBzUdi_b0 http://youtu.be/f4nB-QnWjRk |

I had an HP twin turbo kit which has the turbos mounted behind the front bumper, I kept the headers and innercooler and scrapped the rest of the kit and built my own. If this 4R70W doesn't hold up I'll be going to a 4l80e as well. The car is tuned by myself, Jay from Real Street Performance, and Willie Figueroa. |

i saw an HCI for 400 a couple years back because some people don't know what they are any more. i have one for my motor i purchased it brand new. View Quote I paid $1200 for this damn thing used, then air gapped the runners and had Accufab port it. I also had to powder coat it and find all the hardware for it. Also made custom spacers for the alternator. |

nice and i knew i should have picked it up back then but i already have quite the collection of mod motor parts. i have more complete motors then i know what to do with including two complete 03 cobra motors. i dont know whats worse my ar15 collection or my motor collection.

VHT Wrinkle Black? I used it to black out all the chrome on my Harley. Hasn't held up the greatest, it has flaked off in some places. Think I'm gonna Plasti-Dip those pieces this winter. View Quote It's black wrinkle powder coat. Matches my engine covers and innercooler piping. The VHT is decent but the powder coat is much tougher. I've used both. View Quote That's badass. I liked the VHT just because it was something I could do at home and I like doing everything I can, myself. And there really wasn't any powdercoaters in my area. |

View Quote I tried it out on the chrome strip on the battery box of my Harley that I had previously coasted in VHT but had flaked a bit. Looks real good so far, but the texture doesn't match the wrinkle from the factory. I think it'll look better on the speedo cluster. Since the tank is flat-black, the cluster doesn't need the texture that the VHT provides. The grill of my truck was flat black and I decided to sand it down and Plati-Dip it too over the weekend. The flat paint had kinda "greyed" out a bit. And you could see oils from my fingers closing the hood. We'll see how that holds up as well. |
