They just put a surface treatment (tar & gravel) on my road and several other county roads leading off of it today. Looks like I won't be riding anytime soon.
Fucking shit. I hate that stuff! The county saves money, yet we the taxpayers have to destroy our vehicles to go anywhere. I never did get all the tar off my truck's doors the last time they did it (white truck). Now, I have a Blue truck, so the light-gray primer really shows all the rock chips

They had patched a couple potholes on the main road that day and the sweeper threw all the leftover pea gravel right in the entrance to the neighborhood where I've gotta make a sharp ~120deg turn in. It was slow and not all that graceful... Popped a ~$15 tail light and scuffed up my new-ish jacket. I was pissed. |

A few weeks ago I had to do a U-turn uphill on a road that had just been milled and had something applied to it. Didn't realize it was so bad until my rear tire started going sideways. Stuck my foot out just in case, but didn't go down. Closest I've come though. |

I'm lactose intolerant so I'm not supposed to have ice cream..it gives me the farts something fierce but its my birthday...Thank God I wasn't cooped up in a car
