I will feel better when November gets here.

Though, I admit that I have been buying a little bit here and there.

10 years from now, you won't even see a blip on the chart.

the only reason it is going up is because the big money doesnt think the fed will raise rates this year. (or maybe ever)

There are infinite possibilities, traditionally 8-9-10 (3rd qtr) has been weak for decades. Good luck!

S&P 500 closed at 1995 today, matching the Sept 15 high. Watching to see if it goes back to 2100.

I have no business even guessing but I also suspect not.   People are getting defensive, there are lots of "Fed's outta gas" type articles being written, and I keep seeing comments about how stocks are overvalued.  Most importantly I just started seriously investing, so look out  

The followup question, should people agree there's more to come, is the magnitude of what's to come.  "Correction" may not be the right word.

I think the downtrend has subsided but that's just my shot in the dark opinion. The markets usually do better from October through May. Summers are usually a little rough.
