So tell them no it's not the same model and move on.  Unless this client makes up more than 5% of revenue I wouldn't waste anymore time with them.  Is future sales to this client worth the headache?

I do this rarely but sometimes you just have to fire a customer and understand that no matter how far you bend over backwards you will never be able to please everyone.
