I'm looking to buy a laptop, any suggestions? I haven't kept track of computer stuff since I built my desktop about 9 years ago. What brands should I be looking at?

It's main use will be for my wife to manage our family pictures (emailing and printing, not much editing), for me to watch Netflix while I'm on the road, and the occasional World of Tanks game.

Im thinking in the $500 to $700 range

Thanks

If you will only do this a Chromebook would work fine.

I like Asus.  Their stuff is usually reliable.

They costs less than $200

I would just go with a decent feature set instead of a brand.  An I5 and 8GB RAM with an SD card reader.  That and figure out what kind keyboard and touchpad that you like.
