Hello All,

I was wondering if anybody could recommend a program to convert Kindle files to PDF? I want to be able to print pages if I want and to be able to read things on any machine. Thanks in advance for your help.

PDF is a terrible format for reading on "any machine". You can't adjust fonts or backgrounds, like with e-reader programs.

Calibre is a freeware program that will help you backup the books you've purchased into different formats, presuming they don't have DRM enabled.

Baen sells their books directly on their website in about 7 different versions, and you can email them to your kindle so you can read them there.

Good luck.
