These will be for work as I teach AIT Soldiers. The crappy 4 doller network testers we have now are junk. I was given authorization to place an order for new cable testers but before I do, I need to find a good one.

I dont want some generic chinese shit. I want something that tests cables, that works, and looks like a good cable tester.

How "good" do you want/can you afford?



Flukes are great, but in my experience have some durability problems.

I've used the first one, worked OK. Mostly use the Fluke DTX1800 because of warranty purposes.
