CR has been pretty good on its predictions.  Should be shipping right before I got to Alaska.

Oh credit card, you're about to get a pounding.

FF is nice... I shoot Nikon and Fuji. Its definitely worth the move if you can afford the camera and glass

The 6D is already full frame.  Am I misunderstanding? Or is the implication YOU might be going FF?  If so, yes......

Yeah, I might be entering the FF realm.

I typed everything out, but the title was cut off when I hit submit.

Nice. You will not regret it. I moved over from Nikon to a 6D as I didn't want to participate in the d600 fiasco.  6d with 24mm IS quickly became my favorite combination.  Very underrated lens and going FF was worth every penny for me.  Good light was a dramatic improvement but low light was insanely better than where I came from.

I'll be following it pretty closely. I don't have any intention of purchasing a new camera any time soon, but the original 5D may be coming down in price some...

So it's basically a Nikon D750, ~3 years after the release of said D750.

Poor Canon.

Yet Canon still dominates the market.

Does anyone know what people are saying the FPS will be? I'm guessing around 5, but we'll see. I need at least 7 for any future camera I purchase.

Canons new stuff has been awesome, got a little lens time behind my buddy's 5d mkiv and I like it a lot. Fancier than anything I own :)

FF is so nice.
I still marvel at the pixel patterns in images from my EOS5d. So much different than the crop sensors.
Almost no noise, like seeing though a frosted-glass shower door.

I have hardly touched my 5D Mark III ever since I got the Olympus E-M1 Mark II.

While I like full frame, my dependency on it has waned heavily.

Speaking of mirrorless, with the A6000s acquirable with a 18-55 around $500 I keep thinking about picking one up to have a lightweight hiking camera...

I'd love to go FF, but my priority is autofocus.  Speed and points.   Then frame rate.
