Camera is a Canon 7d Mark II without the battery grip. I want to keep it compact as I use a small bag to travel with and only will have my L bodied 24-105 so I need something sturdy. Assume the EL2 strap from Canon is the right choice? Is there a better option?

I've used it on a D200, D300, D7000, D7100 and now a D750.  I'm surprised so few people use them.
