Daylight is normally considered to be in the 5500K range.

That said, if you've got a decent DSLR you can do a manual white balance to compensate, and you can also adjust the exposure to deal with the light levels.

If I were setting something like this up, I'd get the best lights I could afford and as many as I could. No such thing as too much light.

This is definitely worth considering.

Also worth mentioning, an overhead chandelier type light will be pretty terrible for just about any scenario I can think of, unless you go crazy with modifiers. Reflectors and diffusers and scrims and such.

Good lighting isn't cheap, but it doesn't have to be super expensive either.

For what you'd spend on those LED bulbs and modifiers to make the light not suck, you could get a few amazon soft boxes and lights.
