You have some wicked sharp resolution and focus on those b&w photos you've posted.  May I ask what you are using?  They look great!

Never posted in this forum before.

Just a schmo.

For some reason I think I have an eye for composition.

I don't mind being told I am full of shit.

Working on images from the previous day, my oldest runs in the house from picking raspberries to alert me to come to the garden and bring my camera.

Good call.

Not bad.  I might crop it down a bit to get rid of the junk around the edges.  But welcome, and show us what you got!

I've been slacking apparently.  Between getting sick and just dealing with other stuff, I got into a hole the last few weeks.  Gotta get off my ass and back out of it.

In retrospect, I should have panned left a tad but overall it works as a sales photo.  (buddy is selling it and wanted photos)

Thank You. Using a Canon 7D with Canon EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6. Some light post production in Lightroom. Just using JPG's no RAW.

Something different. Texas Drought a few years ago. It was bad. Something like 90 straight days over 100 with no rain.

Client of mine just got this designation.  Her great great grandfather purchased this property in 1857.  Born a slave in 1819, he acquired his freedom before the Civil War and amassed over 1500 acres as well as several "town" properties.

Elected to Virginia's House of Delegates in 1885, he served one term.  After losing election for his second term he "remained active in politics and participated in Republican Party politics and also worked with the 1888 congressional campaign of John Mercer Langston".

Samuel P. Bolling

Enacted in 2016, Virginia's Century Forest Program (first of it's kind in the nation) is designed to honor and recognize those Virginians who have owned working forestlands for more than 100 years.

Shot of a rifle built by some friends of mine. Played around with it in Silver Efex Pro 2. Probably a little too dramatic but its fun to go overboard sometimes.

Silver Efex is fun, the below photo was one created in that. Have you tried Analog Efex? That is a fun package as well.

There's definitely some interesting stuff in there.  Easy to get carried away with it, but with the right subject matter (i.e. old aircraft), it can be appropriate.

After you mentioned Analog Efex, I went in there and looked around.  Never knew there was anything besides Classic Camera--now I see there is a boatload of different camera/film effects.  Just what I needed--something else to waste time with!

Few months back I was on a gig and the clients brought their dog. While we were taking a break they bring out the smallest full grown female Malinois I have seen. Then they started throwing kongs and letting her stretch her legs. Little girl has hops.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. That's exactly what I was shooting for. I wanted experiment and drop the shutter speed down close to where I shoot prop planes. While not tack sharp, I'm pretty happy with it. Couldn't beat the lighting, either, with the storm in the background.

And this, children, is why we have such spectacular eclipses.  Both images at 600mm, cropped to identical pixel dimensions, then laid side by side.

Were the yellow driving lights factory or an aftermarket thing?  I can remember seeing one here in Texas set up like that many, many years ago.

I really have no idea.  I have a modern Mustang but all I know about the classics is that they are beautiful.  The one in the photo is my birth year so decided to snap a pic.  Cars really had style back then compared to the cookie cutter appliances most people drive today.
