It may not seem as serious as a full-frame sensor, but anyone got experience on aerial/drone photography?

We bought a DJI Phantom and are learning to take pictures with the little 720p camera.  Also bought a Dromida Kodo for playing indoors.  Haven't taken a lot of pics yet, and wondering what advice you all have on setting up the pics and editing.

We have Adobe Elements 12 and Premier 12 (bundle kit when we bought our point and shoot).  Looking for ideas on editing photos and videos.

A good gimbal and anti-vibration mount is worth the money. Makes a HUGE difference.

I had a Phantom Vision. It flew great but the camera was ... well, it basically sucked. They came out with the new Inspire 1. Amazing machine with great gimbal and such, but they still put on a crappy camera. Dumb.
I'll get back in when they put a decent cam on it.

I should also add, check out the FPV racer guys flying the little 250-500 quads. There are many more options than just what comes with the drones, and those guys usually get pretty twitchy about their cameras, both the FPV cams and the recording cams.

We have the base model by DJI, the FC40.  It comes with a little bitty 720p digital camera.  The pics and video are ok, considering what it is and what it is on.  It has little rubber vibration mounts that help stabilize the image (probably some software stabilization too).

I would really like to get the Phantom 2 Vision +, and mount a GoPro to a gimbal on it.  Not in the budget, though.  (and the Inspire is way out of budget with its 4K camera).

The little camera lets us set up pics via FPV, although difficult to fly with it due to lag.  Since we don't have a gimbal, we have to set the angle  before take off.

Just wondering if you all had tips or tricks on how to be sure to get a good angle/perspective, as well as cropping/editing the pics for a final product.
