Yesterday had the opportunity to photograph some gear that is owned by a buddy of mine. One was a pretty cool custom knife by Fraternitas Custom Arms. I just really like the way these turned out and wanted to share.

Those are very nice pics, and a cool knife too. Love the Damascus pattern, don't see them too deep like that, usually more scalloped. That is almost stripes.
What is your light setup? |

IIRC it was two speed lights in umbrellas one about the same height as the knife camera left and on up higher to camera right serving as a key maybe about a stop and half greater power. |
