So what day/time works for raids for everyone? Other than physical therapy Thursday morning, my schedule is pretty open.

Wrath of the Machine raiders - Dead Orbit is selling the Keystone 01 scout rifle this week with explosive rounds. This is the slower firing, high impact archetype scout, and with explosive rounds, it should be able to one shot the shanks at 390 light Aksis encounter. The only other scout rifle readily available in the game (relatively speaking) that can do that is the Burning Eye from Trials of Osiris. A 37/48 scout rifle with crowd control and explosive rounds will leave them with a sliver until crowd control procs, then it's smooth sailing from there.

One thing I hope D2 includes is a "history" of weapon useage and stats. I think it would be neat to see the stats behind weapons that have served you well for so long. Destiny Checklist has a gear analyzer that is the closest we can come to based off of weapon XP. It's fun to see Qullims Terminus and the OG Hung Jury on the list that were in my load out every day for probably a year plus. Dark Drinker really climbed in usage with the debut of RoI.

Down by the Vanguard dudes.
Legacy heavy. Garrison - It does a thing. How important is that thing, only you can decide. Primarily a PVP buy, dealing with a titan who can skate and dash well with this thing is very frustrating. Don't Touch Me - well, with Crota's End coming back, these are kind of a thing again. That said, traversing the abyss isn't a huge deal, especially if you're playing as a nightstalker. Voidfang - primarily a PVP buy here as well. Axions are annoying to fight against, this makes them even more annoying, and spawning up with grenade energy every time is good as well. Transversive Steps are probably a better overall choice for PVE. Mida - buy it if you don't have it. Lives up to it's name well, not really amazing at any one thing, but you can use if very effectively for anything the game has to offer. |

You don't have to clear any of the challenges for the record book completion. Warpriest and Golgorath challenges aren't a huge deal.
But, the shitty part is that the Oryx encounter is technically safer and easier to do as a challenge mode, instead of detonating each series of bombs individually or doing two and two. There's still a lot that can go sideways, but the challenge mode setup is probably the best way to kill Oryx now. |

All the way in the back of the tower hanger, in the bar.
Legacy boots. Immolation Fists - no. Khepri's Sting - no. Aspects - the quickdraw/weapons ready immediately thing got nerfed, but I think these are still great gauntlets, especially for PVP. Zhalo - yup. |

Anyone going to be around tonight late-ish (10p west coast time) and would be willing to help me finish up Kings Fall for the first time? I've got a daughters CP but have never gone further than that.
I'm on PS4; it's been kind of a bitch to find people who are cool with no experience. PSN is Lomp_64 I'm a day one player with all the high speed gear, kings fall was relevant during one of my breaks from the game so I never took the time to go back and run it. |

The Destiny 2 discussion got me interested again, so I talked a buddy into buying "The Collection" with me. We're playing through the campaign stuff for fun right now. We both used the sparks and have level 40's but with mostly crap gear, around 270-280 light. He's never played it before but I played a bit during year 1.
My family situation has changed a bit (kids are actually sleeping) so I should be able to dedicate some weekend night and weekday night time to playing and hopefully raiding. Anyways, if you guys want to add me and toss up some names for me to add, maybe I can join in on the fun. I'm FiftyCalJim on XBONE. I plan on playing some tomorrow during the day and then Fri, Sat, Sun night. Question: are my year 1 exotics and legendaries useless for endgame now? Should I scrap them? Super Good Advice, Patience and Time, Shadow Price, Armamentarium, etc... |
