Does look really good. Glad to see Ubisoft decided to have a PC version too.
It seems the players are supposed to be part of "The Division" and their mission is to combat the panic and lawlessness resulting from a major biological attack; all in an effort to prevent an all out societal collapse. Sort of like DayZ without the zombies and (possibly) without the hackers and griefers. I'm interested to see how the actual mechanics of the game work. For instance is there a separate single-player or co-op only mode that is independent from the MMO part in that video? Any vehicles outside that little drone we saw? And was that guy playing from a tablet? I assume that most of the AI enemies you'll encounter will be scum / FSA that have taken to looting, scavenging and murder after the attacks (a la Katrina but much worse). But, for example, if the players are all part of The Division, why are they fighting each other as well as these AI thugs in the video? Perhaps the players will get the option to "Go Rogue" and be asshole warlords instead of trying to help the situation. Could be cool. |

Watching this one closely. It might be great. But the studio is claiming open world but it is anything but.
For example you are limited to 4 man squads + 1 commander that can play from PC or tablet. There are limited PvP only areas called Darkzones, social zones for trading and interacting, and normal zones (instances created just for your squad to fight AI bad guys). The destructible environments look absolutely awesome. |

I'm super interested in it and I'll probably be picking it up on PC. It definitely seems like it has the potential to be an amazing game, but who knows I might be too wrapped up in Star Citizen.

It seems The Arfcom Trials and Tribulations of playing DayZ left a bad taste in everyone's mouth .
I had TONS of fun playing it and Wasteland when everyone was working together. This looks like it could be great in the same vein, but perhaps with a little bit more forced co-operation between teams via the game engine. Less Arfcom chronic backstabbing disorder for everybody!!! |

The Division is one of a few reasons I bought an XBox One. I'm greatly looking forward to this game, a little bummed out that it's been pushed back a bit, but if that's time they need to make it right, then so be it.
