I was informed by another member that all systems can join the same platoon through Battlelog now. And doing a Com Center search for this member did show he was on console, but I could still friend him. So I don't see why everyone couldn't join the platoon.

So here is the one I started.

also, when you guys apply, post what system your on so we can add friends accordingly.

The platoon doesn't gain any score unless 4 people from the same system play at the same time.

We do game nights every tuesday where we kick the wives/kids out of the room and jump on BF4 at 8 Central time. Our crew is located at pointsmatter.com and our TS is ts.pointsmatter.com. I don't even understand the whole platoon thing. I see that I have a tag now and the BFL gets tossed on my equipment, but there's no way to join platoon members' games that I see and I can't even figure out how to get to the platoon page without coming here and clicking the link. Maybe it's because I'm using the smartglass thing when I'm looking at this stuff.

the easiest way to join games is to have them on your Battlelog friends list, or whatever system your using. wait until someone gets into a game and then join their game from battlelog or the in game menu.

that's how i do it. but if there are a a bunch of you make sure to pick a server that has a lot of open spots.

Been playing through campaign mostly, just derping around. Mostly been on BF2/1942 this weekend.

I also have BF3 as well.

Played some BF4 online on a 64 player server that was west coast today and needless to say it was a pretty shitty experience and not like BF that I remember, but those days have sailed sadly.

Basically played a couple of matches on Caspian and Lockdown. Lockdown itself was basically like a COD match with noobtubing/shotgunning everywhere and shit tons of grenade spam. Caspian wasn't bad other than ZERO team work 80% of the team was being bush wookies and not filling recon roles. I think I was the only support in the game.

I take it others have dealt with this aswell?

Most of the teams are made up of noobs with dmrs and recon kits nowadays. Well I'm not a huge fan on all the unlockables/achievement crap. BF2 wasn't too bad about this, especially since you could just allow global unlocks and the like. But it seems the COD community has rabid autism with all these ribbons/unlocks/kill specs. You can't even post on the BF4 forum without people acting like dicks commenting on your profile and how you are the 1337 master scrub.

I had a HELL of a time yesterday, but was actually able to provide support and ammo to some people that needed it. Its alot harder to actually see people on certain maps (Caspian in particular, since people who spawn rape are usually running around with camo that matches the environment and using that DAO-12 gun). I noticed most people were just running around with XM-25s, so I did the same

Yeah it was panthermonkey, lawle, worstmanatee and I who got the first points on the board after the months this platoons been up and I went into the wiki and found out why. I do find it odd though out of the 76 members we have we cant get 4 ppl in the same room at one time lol.
