Heading out on an ARFCOM camping trip tomorrow morning. Since I have been a spectator in the last 2 wars I hope I won't miss anything.
Got some long upgrades being worked on while I am gone. Can't wait to check out the dark barracks too. |

This is to NBH/ ViperSF . I would recommend setting your base up something similar to this. It will help keep your th and loot safe, while only forfeiting your mines and pumps. If you're on often enough, there should never be any goods in the mines. If you like it, try it out. If not no biggie. This war I was able to get 6/6, last war I wasn't even able to do anything because anything I was actually capable of was gone. Moral of the story I've gotta use both attacks within the first hour.

We kicked some ass that war. I think I'm getting pretty good with the dragons and the rage spells. The dragopolpyse for me seems to 3 star anyone my th level (8), but usually 2 stars higher town halls due to the extra AAs. 2 stars on their higher opponents is usually preferable, if possible. If you add air D xbows, then it's probably only good for one star, if that.
The key to our defense is upgrading the AAs, IMO. It defends against the dragons and the healers, probably our most common threats. They take a long time to get to level 5 and beyond, so better get em' going, if you haven't already. |

So everyone is aware, RG needed to drop for awhile, taking some time away from wars and such. He has stood up Arfcom 87 Acre, which will serve as a farm team for Arfcom Clan. If you need a break from clan wars for whatever reason, join up there so we can all still support each other. RG, if you wouldn't mind, could you please set 87 Acre to "Open" so we don't leave folks in limbo if they need to move over into the clan?
Bdjaws has put forward the motion that we not fill his position, keeping our number at 49 and putting us in 45-man wars. Historically we kick ass in the 45-man bracket (or so I'm told), and in addition this leaves our bottom 4 people on the bench. This provides motivation for the lower ranks to remain competitive and push to constantly improve. We're putting this out on the floor for a couple of days for commentary before making a decision on it, so comment away. |

That was a close one last night. PSA, if you wait until the end of the war, it's going to be slim pickings - especially if you have a weak attacking army. The lower you are, the earlier you need to attack - if your goal is to get stars. |

There was discussion tonight in the chat about going to war right after the conclusion of the current war. Thoughts? Post 'em up. My preference is war then war again. We're holding off tonight and sticking to regularly scheduled programming, but after the next war, if no one votes otherwise, or Dog or 12 say no, we'll war and then war again.

My only concern with war after war is the drain on drink. I know a lot of us are churning out high cost troops for donations as well as our own armies. Makes it a little difficult to save up for up-grades.
