Lol.  Even though my wife weighs less than that, I'm sure she'll add more than 30lbs to her squat next year.

Old fart just getting back into it so I can lift with my 14 year old son, who is doing it for the first time. As I sit here with an ice pack on my arthritic knee, 2 months in, at a body weight of 230, my 3x5 numbers as of today are:

Deadlifts: 235
Squats: 200
Bench: 220
Press: 130

Yeah, I'm top heavy. Getting old is a bitch on the back and knees, but I'm going to flip the ratios to a better 5:4:3:2. Trying to stay ahead of my son will keep me motivated. I know he's going to pass me, but I'm not going to make it easy on him.

Yes and Yes. Can't do a whole lot about the older, but working on the bad health part.
