Just kidding about the test.
I quit eating bullshit. I didn't starve myself though. I generally did light conditioning twice week or not at all. Conditioning consist of an easy jog or jumping rope.
I started Starting Strength. Starting Strength is an excellent program for any beginner. It took me a few months to relearn how to lift properly. Then I started recording myself and had to relearn relearning how to lift properly. I would weigh in every Saturday. My main goal was to weigh less on a weekly basis. I never gave up. There were periods of time where I would plateau and not loose any weight for a month. After I bitched out on doing heavy squats 3 times a week I switched to Jim Wendler's 5/3/1 program. Looking back I should have stuck with SS longer and deloaded properly. Fast forward to today, I'm still doing 5/3/1. It's a great simple program . I am able to do everything at home with a power rack, a flat bench, bar, and standard barbell plates. Just started recording calories and protein. Now it's time to gain weight.
