Long story short I fractured my foot playing basketball, and will be in a cast for 8 weeks. As of now I am doing a lot of pull ups, and knee push ups, but my biggest concern is putting on 20 pounds cause all I do is sit around. My diet has been crap the first two weeks with this injury, but it will soon change back to normal.

I currently weigh 175 and am 5'11"

ETA: Do you guys think dry fire drills in the hot sun will be a decent warm up?

thanks for any help

I've worked out with a broken big toe.

Pull-ups, push-ups, bench, dips, abs, seated good mornings, etc...

Weight is going to be a function of diet, so fix that now.

I do not see dry fire drills as being a good warmup personally.
