Yeah...
Surface EMG's not placed over the proper part of the muscle are 100% useless... even when properly placed... the conduction variations and such are... variable and finicky. Shit, even EXPERIENCED Electrophysiologists have difficulty with proper electrode placement. It's voodoo. Don't waste your $$$. (this is coming from a person who, most days, does the hooking up and reading of EEG and EMGs). |
