Anybody using the 5X25 XTR on their precision AR?

Any problems with the SCR reticle getting too thick at high (25X) magnification? SCR Reticle...

Was thinking that scope and a Larue LT-104.

I have one on my RPR.

It's a large scope.   On a 556 platform with a 104 my guess is the rear of the optic would be an inch or so behind your charging handle.

On a 308, it might be enough to get it just at the charging handle.

Did I mention it's a large scope??

Scr reticle is the bees knee's.  2/10ths horizontal markings for wind holds.  Get the 4-20

I have the 4-20 on my savage 338LM. Was on my 308 bolt. Love it. Awesome scope. My brother just put one on his 308. Glass is great. Check with Whittaker guns for pricing. When I got mine, they were 200 bucks cheaper than anyone at the time I got mine. You wont regret getting this. For a 308, suggest 4-20 as was suggested above. When I get the cash, I will be getting the 5-25 to go on my 338 and move the 4-20 back on my 308. The 34mm tube is great. Have a 30mm on the 308 and sucks going back to it.
