I always wanted to have a Remington 700 police RH in 308 26" barrel, (I started this project back in 2000) got the scope (SS10x42) and the rings (ARMS quick detach, medium), just last month I was finally able to buy my rifle and now I need to buy the scope base, looking online I saw the Badger Ordinance however I don't know which one I should buy, I also need to know if those come with the screws or if those are purchased separate.
Thanks

Good choice in base. Not a fan of ARMS QD attachments.

I have the 700P in 308. There's been various discussions scope bases.

The preference is for something with a recoil bit like the Seekins or Badger.

That said, I just got the Larue 20moa short action rail which doesn't have that and I've never had any issues with it. (Probably because I needed more Dillo Dust)

IMO, there's not really good reason to use QD on a bolt action rifle. Just bolt it down and make it solid, permanent and accurate. I've got a big Leupold on there. I could probably beat somebody up with it and not lose zero.

I use Seekins for quality and supporting an Idaho company. Initially, I had a 20MOA base on my 700VSF, but my scope has limited elevation. Over the winter, I installed a 30MOA and a new TriggerTech trigger. My name just came off the waitlist for a nearby private range with known distances and steel at 550 yards, so I may actually increase the rifle's lifetime round count beyond 40.
