I am looking at rebareling my LR260 to 6.5CM since there is so much more ammo available. I looked at a 22" JP and Krieger and was leaning towards the Krieger until I called them. The JP comes with a 2 in loner than rifle gas tube the Krieger uses a standard rifle length.
I have read some threads that say a longer gas tube is important to help the burn in the semiauto platforms. Anyone have thoughts on the importance of a longer gas tube? Would you pick the JP over the Krieger for this reason? |

Yes, I would. However I used to own a Krieger in 6.5 CM with a +2 gas system.

How did you get it? Did you ask for it that way when I spoke to them today they said they come with a rifle length or carbine depending on the barrel length.
