Nice!  I've got a .338 (110) in a Cadex chassis as well:

Got a little heat earlier in this thread for running a Schmidt on a Savage, but the thing shoots well enough to warrant it, lol!

As for the 50 with the tanned action, that's a fun little number built by PGWDTI.  It's their LRT-3 and an absolute pleasure to shoot:

Those are some disgustingly awesome rigs you two have but id hate to see your reloading costs ... powder for a 338 and 50 how many rounds eat up a pound of powder not to mention the cost of bullets

Very nice, I went with a Stiller action for my .338, only 100 rounds through it so far, but I'm enjoying it for sure. I am still debating if I want to get an action and build a .50

Sadly you only get roughly 70 rounds per Lb of powder with the .338, but spotting for yourself becomes a lot less challenging, and wind calls in tricky mountain area's become less challenging as well.

Just took delivery of the Elite Sand AX on the left this past Friday.  It's 1 of 3 Elite Sand rifles in the US currently, the other 2 are in the AI vault.    The new color is awesome and looks different under different lighting conditions (green/gray).

Have they went back to the non-fluted (I guess you'd call it that) bolt again?  I noticed they have changed back and forth over the years but never understood why.  My 15 AT has the fluted bolt.

Closest my wallet can spare for a precision rifle at the momemt, Savage 10 in a GRS Berserk Stock with an Apache barrel in 6.5 Creedmoor.  It shoots very well for a cheap gun.  Still working up loads in it.  I have in the neighborhood of $1100 in the gun.

Here is mine:

Savage 11 action
26" Criterion 1:8 5R twist barrel in 6.5 Creedmoor w/SI King Comp
Bell & Carlson M40 Style 4 Stock (not bedded)
PT&G Bottom Metal
Viper PST 6-24x50 EBR-1 MRAD

Below the gun pics are two recent groups I shot with it using 41.8 gr H4350 & 143 ELD-X 0.020" off the lands. The single hole group is a 3 shot group (best group of my short 28 year life haha), the other is a 5 shot group:

Not that I'm aware of.  This is an AX of AI's (Scott Seigmund's personal rifle) that they had coated for SHOT show.

Rifle is still a virgin since I just got most of the parts and accessories put together. I plan on shooting sighting it in sometime this week.

R700 30-06
Magpul Hunter long action
Steiner T5Xi 5-25x56mm (sunshade on)
Witt Machine muzzle brake
Harris bipod

Factory trigger is very smooth, so I'm not replacing it yet.

ETA: I will probably rattle can it after I've sighted in the scope, MARPAT style.

Looks good. I got one these stocks with the bottom metal this past week. I like the feel of it a lot so far.

Did you mount your bipod with the Magpul M Lock bipod mount or a sling stud in one of the holes that's there?

Have you decided anything about mags yet? I am still wondering if I want to try some of the AICS metal mags or use the Magpul ones. I got a couple of the 10 rounders with my stock but these are the first Magpul mags that I have ever gotten and I am still up in the air on them.

Thanks! I agree, it's very comfortable. Only thing I don't like is the high cheek rest doesn't allow  the bolt to be removed. It will cycle just fine though.

I am using the mlok bipod mount ($18). Once I've attached the bipod, there was zero play, it was rock solid.

I bought (3x) 5rnd Magpul PMag AC L (magnum). What's interesting is the yellow follower has just enough room to put in a 6th round. If it's gray (mag that came with the magwell/trigger guard combo), it's strictly 5rnds. The mags normally fit 300 win mag, but it also fits 30-06. I have quick-cycled multiple rounds with zero feeding/ejecting issues. Big plus: it's a hell of a lot cheaper ($32/ea from Midway USA) than the AICS mags ($100). The mags are made using M3 tech, they feel solid and durable.

ETA: I got the mags on sale. Avg price is $40, still cheaper than AICS.

Got my MK6 back from Leupold. They replaced the broken erector and elevation adjustment bits. No clue what caused the failure but it's fixed now. Might explain the lousy groups I was getting with my SCAR recently. For now it will live on my TRG-22.

One of those CTR's is high on my buy list too. They're nice!

Having both the TRG -22 in .308 and the TRG-42 in .338 LM, I've been fighting the urge to purchase a .375CT, .408CT, or 50 cal. Not sure what yet...but it will likely be a bolt action as I'm chasing accuracy (although an m82A1 would also be fun). That PGW LRT-3 on this page has me drooling, but I'm not even sure if availability in the US. May have to consider a Windrunner.

Pic thread...so here's the TRG-42 again. Shot an Aoudad from here at 371yds and a 35-40* downward angle. Sheep were just over my right shoulder in the canyon below.
