http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f10/YDCtaco/FullSizeRender%20-%20Copy%203_zps9wuucyww.jpgHey guys, sorry no pics. I'm currently in college right now and don't have access to my rifle, for various legal reasons. It's a Remington 700 SPS-V in .308. I put it in a magpul hunter 700 stock. On top is a leupold mark 4 in leupold steel rings, but this info is irrelevant.

My problems started when I got my new Timney trigger with a longer seer. I returned my old one because I was having light primer strikes. When I installed the new trigger and assembled the action into the stock, everything looked canted, leaving more space on one side than the other. My scope also looks somewhat canted to the right. I know this is useless without pictures but is it possible/common for a trigger change to alter the alignment? Meaning after everything is torqued down, a flimsy trigger could affect how the action seats in the stock?

Nice rig overall OP.  I don't think the trigger is canting anything, it is hitting the stock?  Remove trigger and try without it in place maybe.    The stock is molded plastic, what did your torque the actions screws down to?  Is the trigger guard/mag seated properly in the stock?

It isn't an $800 Manners/McMillan stock, but it still should still sit level.
