So I was just poking around online and saw the new Bergara B-14 HMR.  

The B-14 HMR starts at $1150.

I don't think they're out yet, but I've seen them on various vendors for anywhere between $858 and $995.  Anyone check these out at SHOT?  On paper and the Bergara website (of course), they sound like they could be the "budget" one to beat.

I think I checked one of these out online yesterday and like you said they look good on paper for the price. The bottom metal was actually the Magpul Hunter polymer. Bergara has some interesting looking rifles but I haven't seen anyone here post about actually having one.

I know, right.  I"d love to be the "guinea pig", but I shoot so rarely anymore my report could take years.....

Should be a decent contender at it's price point and ready to roll out of the box.

It is probably well worth the risk.

I want one. I'm a bit concerned about the weight, but otherwise (on paper) they look very interesting.

Just heard from Bergara this morning...

"The HMR is currently shipping in small quantities so they should start to spear over the next 2-3 months"

I keep stalking every on-line retailer I can think of.
No luck so far. I did find a BMP in 6.5.

I picked up an HMR in 6.5 creedmoor this morning with a 50rnd box of Hornady 140gr BTHP for sub 1K. Cant wait to get a scope mounted and see what kind of performance it gives me. With Bergara's 1 MOA guarantee I'm expecting good things out of it.

Had a chance to shoot the HMR yet?

Not yet, i'm ordering a base and rings today but am still waiting to buy some glass due to funds. That and my local range is half way through a renovation so it might be another two or three weeks unfortunately

I've got a 6.5 on order.  I'll update when I get it and get some rounds down range.

They're going too sell a lot of these if they are accurate.I'm getting one, they have all the stuff you need in a rifle

I also see they off 6mm Creedmoor too. only in the higher models
