First off, yes I'm an idiot, I should have pulled my bowcase outta storage, but I was in the middle of a divorce, had to literally throw all my belongings in storage last September.  With everything going on, it slipped my mind until spring when I realized it had been sitting there the whole time.

So, with my compound bow sitting in storage unit, with winter temperatures of 0 to 20 during the day and -25 to 0 at night, could this have caused unseen damage to the limbs, etc?  I'm sure it would be a good idea to get it re-strung, I'm just wanting to make sure it's safe to shoot after it went though that much temperature change.  I'm fairly new to compound bows so could use a little insight.

I don't think you ruined it,however, it wouldn't be a bad idea to take it to a good archery shop and have them give it the once over inspection/tune-up.  What kind of bow is it (brand)?  I'm a Mathews fan-boy and every year prior to season- about mid summer when I start practicing, I take mine in to make sure everythings GTG.  Welcome to yet another addiction

Thanks for the input.  It's a Fred Bear Instinct.  Not anything special, but I enjoy shooting it and have learned a lot since it's my first compound bow.  I will have to try and find a local shop to get it looked at.  There's a Bass Pro Shop about an hour north of me, but the guys are the archery counter are hit and miss and one completely furbar'd my peed sight and I had to get it fixed once I got up to MT.

I now have room at my place where I can shoot as far as I want, so I'm looking forward to getting out to 50+ yards and getting dialed in.

Yeah the big thing you want to make sure of especially since it was subjected to extreme cold is the condition of that string.  Make sure its waxed and no visible strands broken.  I've had hit and miss help at the big stores Bass Pro Dicks etc, try and find the small shops.  If you find the right one, they are fanatical.  I go to a place in the middle of nowhere outside of Lexington KY- couple of older folks but to watch them shoot is a thing of beauty (they have Sunday picnic shoots where they shoot coke bottle caps consistently a 15 yrds. Anyhow, get that thing dialed in and go to work on your coyote problem

The yotes are out thick again tonight.

There's a club in the hills near me that has a whole 3D range set up.  More like a walking course.  They have weekend shoots.  I'm itchin to get back into it.

GO THERE!  Guaranteed those folk know the know.  That's exactly the same type place I go to- all be it in the Hills o' KY.  3D is really fun, 3D yotes with an Illuminock sticking out of one end and a 3 blade Rage in the other is funerer
