I just ordered a Parker Bushwacker crossbow. While going through some of the online info, I found that they insist on using only ten point or parker brand arrows. Is there a safety or usability reason for this or is it because they want to sell me the arrows too?

I'm going to use this for target shooting 99% of the time. Anyone have some recommendations on arrows?

how long are the bolts that you use?  i shoot 20" 2219 bolts out of my ten point, i make my own bolts out of 2219 easton
shafts. i look for damaged arrows in the bucket at the archery range i go to. you can buy all the components to make your
own.

but i think they just say that so you buy their bolts.
