I angled my carriers with the natural angle of my hand. I use the Invictus 2.8s and with their mounting bracket, you can always get the same angle on all your caddies.

The angle at that location is set up for the natural angle of my wrist/hand at that particular location along the belt. Helps to have an ELS belt (or some other QD offering out there).

For quad loading I'm fastest with a can't to match my natural wrist angle at belt level.
For dropping dueces I like straight up and down. You can index on the same point and just sweep back for the next set if shells without looking down. |

I tried angled but I like straight up and down for both my Invictus 12Q and 8D. Just pulls out better for me.

Canted and I rotate the opening on the shell clips to the rear so I pull the shells back and out in a more natural motion instead of straight away from my body.
