Got an invite to go down to Victoria, Tx to help eradicate some hogs that had been hitting the corn fields pretty hard. We started around 9:00 and wrapped it up around 3:00 am.  We drove around scanning fields out the window and stopped in a few places to call for a few minutes here and there. We got 6 confirmed kills on the first group. Then later in the night took out a single boar that is not in this video. 7 confirmed kills for the night.

Didn't know hogs responded to calling. Learned something new.

Look up Glenn Guess from hog zombies on YouTube. He's been studying how to call hogs for the past couple decades. Recently came out with an electronic call/sound from convergent hunting solutions. He also has grunt tubes. Lots of videos showing him and his family calling in hogs.

Had done some hog hunting in Victoria myself. 3 shooters, took 13 hogs one night.

Didn't even make a dent in that population

Went out the next night & the pods of pigs were just as big. The poor farmers in Texas have a real serious problem, for certain.

My buddy likes to say that they have litters of 10 but that only 15 of those survive to adulthood
