I'm looking for factory 300BLK round for hog hunting and maybe deer this fall/winter.
It will be used in a AR carbine with 16" and 1-8" twist barrel.  Shots would be within 100 yards for sure and most likely within 60 yards.
Something common that I can find and not some exotic stuff that cost $5 a round and can't be found.
Looking at supersonic ammo only.

I use the Barnes 110 TAC-TX. < $1.50 per round at local Academy.

2275 average fps out of my 12.5, Mean Radius of .49" at 100 yards.

Resighted yesterday after scope ring swap.

Barnes solids are always my first choice for pigs. We've done a lot of shooting with the 300BLK 125gr HPBT HUNTING round from PNW lately with good results too.

If you're shooting supersonic I'd go with the 110gr Barnes TTSX.  Hard to go wrong there...

Some folks were saying that the 130gr Remington Hog Hammers weren't expanding at all...as if Remington just stuck a 130gr TSX that was designed to expand at much higher velocity in a 300 blackout case and called it good.  Any truth to this???  I haven't tried any myself yet.
