Looking for a fun and somewhat reasonable place to hunt some hogs. Please respond with you experiences/suggestions. Would prefer N.TX or a location within 8hrs of NW Arkansas.

I saw that looks very reasonable. Do they allow 300 BO rifles?

Yeah they have a three rounds in the mag limit.

I have talked to quite a few of these guys and I do get where they are coming from.  They get a bunch of hunters who don't hunt or shoot very often and they have pretty shitty hit rates. It's there way of cutting down on injured animals.

a little, the biggest problem you're going to have is booking a date.  They have lodging there too, in a nice little farmhouse.

I was all  When I read those rules too (different ranch), but we went this past spring and another group showed up along side us.  There we 4 people with them.  The ranch had you shoot one of those little orange cubes at 100 yards to make sure your rifle was good.  Those guys must have spent all day fucking around down there trying to shoot that cube.  They never did actually get a hog aside from one baby.

I could only imagine those boys raining bullets down range hoping to win.

ETA:  I am looking at their website.  Do they skin and butcher the hogs for you or is it DIY.  Sounds DIY?
