only got the shot of this one on the video.   took my brother in law out.  we got 4 for the night.  all lone boars.  no sounders.  we stalked up to this guy in  ahay field to about 75 yeards.  3, 2, 1, double tap, dead pig.
we were shooting a 6.8 w/ gen 3 nv and a 7.62x39 with the IR hunter MKII 35 thermal scope. both suppressed.

Lol right! Or just a bigger truck.. Was shooting factory Hornady SST ammo in both. 123 grain in 7.62x39 (16 inch) and as I'm sure u know, the good ol 120s in 6.8 (12.5 inch).

Those 120's out of a 20" 6.8 are wicked and shoot fairly flat. I think they penetrait a third more than the Vmax.

As they should. VMax is a frangible "varmint" bullet. The SST is more of a "big game" hunting bullet. I've been runnin SST's in most everything for years. They perform very well and are usually very accurate once dialed in for the firearm.
"Flat shooting" is a marketing term. Unless it's a laser, they all shoot in a parabolic curve.    d:^)  Jake..
