Ok yall, just moved to NE Ohio, virtually right in the middle between cleveland and akron. Need to find a good duck/goose spot for the coming season. I came from hunting state refuges in a different state but don't necessarily want to continue that, although I'm not opposed.

Anyone have any recommendations? Not looking to drive rediculoulsy far, no boat (yet, dont tell the wife), no dog, just waders and a hellofa lot of dedication!

Ha....

First off, have you seen any ducks flying?! We aren't exactly in a "flyway".

Go to the big water out west near Sandusky Bay and/or Toledo (Maumee) for ducks in numbers.

Secondly, there are a ton of public lands that offer hunts, Mosquito, LaDue, Grand River, etc...but you have to catch the small window of migrators for them to be any decent.
