How about a ruger American rimfire?
Or just get a suppressor. I have 2 suppressed 17s and they're amazing. |

Already have 2 suppressors but I want to go with subsonic .22 so can be quiet as possible.
Also not sure who will suppress a Ruger 77/17. Adco has been my go to but they don't do the Ruger 77 series |

I like my Ruger American Rimfire. I have the compact/threaded.
Short light accurate. Can't hunt with suppressors here but I do shoot it suppressed alot. With CCI standard velocity it's pretty dang quiet. With CCI quiets the trigger is loud. I have no complaints with the rifle. |

Here in PA we will be able to use semiautos for the first time this fall so I plan to take out one of my Ruger 10/22s or my CMMG dedicated 22.
Up to this year I have been using a Ruger 77/22 vbz which is the laminate with the heavier Stainless barrel. The gun is very accurate and deals like a full size centerfire which I like. That gun shoots 1-inch groups at 100-yards too so it has collected a lot of squirrels. I have to see if I continue with the semiautos as my bolt gun is more accurate. |

I just recently bought a Savage Mark II FVSR for squirrel hunting and that thing is AWESOME, it is pretty light, and runs subsonic rounds like a champ. I was surprised how accurate it was especially for the price. Cannot wait to get a decent little suppressor for the thing and take it out to slay some tree chickens.
