I have a live trap, I brace it,I corner it---he flips it. I don't want to stay up all night.  Any advise?

Drive a piece of rebar through the cage into the ground, from top to bottom in a manner that will not block the traps triggering mechanism or the coon from entering and working the trigger.  The rebar will keep the cage from being rolled over.

Now that he's used to coming up and flipping the live trap, put a conibear in front of it.

Buy a dog proof racoon trap. Drop sweet treats in the bottom and set. Bring a heavy club in the morning.

These can be a problem for any outside cats or other pets in the area. They are very unforgiving.
